Kelsey looks like a supermodel in this photo! Senior Fights Texans for a Spot in Blue Bonnet Patch

Bluebonnets are a Texas staple, and they can be quite fickle at times. Fortunately for us, we found the perfect location to put our blond beauty in the middle of a field full of the gorgeous indigo flowers, although we did have a little competition from the other bluebonnet seekers!

Kelsey Auldridge, a senior at Berkner High School, and her mother Mary met our team out at Towne Lake Park to begin her seniority session with us. Towne Lake Park has a beautiful and rusty bridge that Kelsey and her mom had fallen in love with, so after taking a few stunning photographs on the bridge, Kelsey bravely...

Lexi looks stunning as she smiles into the camera. Unexpected Weather Changes Everything During Senior Shoot

Our team was in utter disbelief. It was January, right? Apparently, Dallas was tired of being held in the clutches of winter and broke out into a balmy 70 degree weather, just in time for Senior Model Rep, Lexi Maashio’s senior portrait session!

An amazing volleyball player, Lexi has the skills to help motivate people to push themselves, which is why she is working on her Personal Training certification! Her plan is to work her way through college as a trainer so that when...

Brooke fixes her hat while sitting on a bench. The South Has Conniption As Snow Covers Dallas

Wt was udder madness. People were slipping, cars were sliding, and the snow was coming down like an avalanche.

As dramatic as Texans can get about cold weather and the snow, it can be said that the amount of snow that we received was not only unexpected but quite beautiful. In lieu of our chilly situation, we decided to grasp the expectant hand of opportunity and forge out into the wintry weather for a photo shoot! Two very brave senior model reps, Brooke and Madison, met us out at the Shops at Legacy for what would prove to be a very eventful (and cold) North Dallas senior photo session...

Zach squats down on the side of the hill with the Adriatica tower behind him. Store Owner Tries to Kick Senior Out of Session Location

In Dallas, Texas, cold is not usually a word that is thrown around very often. Heat, wind, sweat, are usually synonymous with DFW senior portraits, but cold? Unfortunately, Zach Ferrell had to brave the coldest and windiest day of winter (so far) – but we think it was not in vain!

Melissa Ferrell, Zach’s mom, called us in a panic on that Monday morning. Zach had gone through the rigorous and painful process of having his braces removed for his senior portraits only to have their photographer cancel on them last minute and his orthodontist was calling him back in to put on a new fresh set of metal the following day. Having found our photographs on Yahoo and through the Underwoods – Melissa attended high school with Ron – who you may recognize from their senior and family portraits with us...

Cora frames her face with her hands. High School Senior Travels from China for Her Senior Portrait Session

Ok so maybe she’s lived in the Dallas area for 3 years, but Cora Seelman really was born in China! This Senior Model Rep does it all; NHS, student council, captain of both the varsity cheerleading squad and the Desperados - a country-western dance team at Richardson High School that perform at pep rallies doing stunts and gravity defying routines, as well as a chair person on the prom committee. Just listing it all makes our head spin, but Cora just giggled and said that she...

Mikaela shows off her kimono to the camera! Friends and Boyfriend Crash Senior Portrait Session

Standing in the middle of the street usually isn’t advisable, but Mikaela Tisdale, a senior at Wakeland High School showed no fear striking a pose at the Shops of Legacy during her DFW senior portrait session. This bravery may have been honed through her time as a third baseman for her high school’s softball team, and let us tell you, being on a high school varsity sport is not an easy thing to accomplish!

Admiring the lights that were put up for the holiday season, we strolled around the Shops at Legacy with Mikaela and her boyfriend, Addison. When the subject of college came up...

Jordan tips her hat at the camera! Tornado Nearly Sweeps Away Senior During Her Portrait Session

Wind whisked along the grassy hills of Luscombe Farms as our team tried it’s best to stay warm. Senior Jordan Whittle led the way across the farm to a small shack in the back of the property, smiling all of the way and making a joke or two. Although it was freezing and so windy there could have been a tornado, this Senior Model Rep was not letting it get her down and she was clearly enjoying her DFW senior portrait session with us...

Shannon rolls in some leaves that we found at Arbor Hills Nature Preserve! Are You as Nimble as This Senior? We Don’t Think So

Gorgeous, a gymnast, a reader, and a braniac; Shannon Dyer is a senior after our hearts. When we photographed her older sister, Lauren, back in 2012, we knew that she was a hoot and couldn’t expect anything less from Shannon! With a spritely attitude and an outgoing spirit, Shannon dazzled us with her smile and big blue eyes as we strolled along the paths at Arbor Hills Nature Preserve in Plano, Texas.

While walking through the denser part of the woods, we found a side of the creek that runs through Arbor Hills that we have not seen before...

Madison looks just lovely against this stained glass window. How to Graduate High School Early and Keep God as a Key Player in Your Life

Soft light streamed through the stained glass windows as our footsteps echoed through the high ceilings of the sanctuary. Madison DeVor smiled at our team as we gaped at the gorgeous patterns and textured walls of the Old Church Restored, a church in Whitesboro, Texas.

Madison and her mother are good friends with the family who bought and restored the old church, so they very graciously allowed us to photograph Madison there for her DFW senior portraits! This senior is not only beautiful, but she is extremely smart! She is the only senior in our Senior Model Rep Program to be graduating early, and she told us that her plan is to begin a community college to gain more credits as soon as she graduates in the spring...

Taylor rocks a leather skirt during her senior portrait session! How To Rock a Leather Skirt This Winter Season

Our team stood in a shocked silence. It was happening again, and there was nothing they could do about it. Macy was on the verge of tears while Tyler let out a nervous chuckle. All they could think about was the catastrophe that happened during Makenna Kinnamon’s first DFW senior shoot when they headed to Denton, Texas only to find a rock festival taking place, and it seemed that it was happening all over again to another senior model rep, Taylor Hernandez...

Ethan looks great against these bright fall colors! When Geese Attack – A Seriously Fowl Situation

A gallant yell emerged from our studio as Liberty High School senior, Ethan Luman, roared into the camera followed by laughter as our team roared along with him. We had Ethan’s session at White Rock Lake, where we met Ethan and his mother Cara for his Dallas senior portrait session. Ethan is the eldest of four with a younger sister and twin younger brothers who he says always put smiles on his face.

It was an unseasonably warm day, and we were taking full advantage of it along with other Dallas natives who were jogging along the gorgeous paths lined with fall colored trees. One gentleman was sporting some bright orange running shorts, and Ethan, being outgoing, waved him down to let him know “how awesome” he thought the man’s shorts were...

These Seniors had a blast! Seniors Caught Throwing Party in Photographer's Studio

Should Old Acquaintance be forgot, and never thought upon;

The opening lines of Auld Lang Syne seem a little morbid, but when you think about it, it’s actually quite beautiful. It means letting go of your past and celebrating the new times ahead. You can let go of your worries, and have a chance at making the change for the better. Did you know that January 1st was chosen for the first day of the New Year because it is light precisely the same amount of time it is dark. Our seniors chose to celebrate this occasion with us in our studio in Frisco, Texas with pizza from Pizza Hut, cupcakes, and a lot of sparkle...

The three things you need to look like a cross country star!

#1: Have a lot of patience!

Angry screams pierced the cool autumn air. Cheyenne tried her best to keep a smile on her face, but the wailing screams only kept getting louder. Right as the noise reached its peak, Tyler shouted ‘got it!’ and Cheyenne burst into a fit of giggles.

Claire gives us a class Audrey Hepburn look! Audrey Hepburn Doppelganger Discovered During Senior Portrait Session

Mist was floating through the air and landing on the colorful leaves and flowers of the Dallas Arboretum as we photographed the gorgeous Claire Rosenbluth. Although it was a very gray day, Claire was stunning against the vibrant colors of the gardens, and really stood out among the trees in a soft white sweater.

A senior at Heritage High School, Claire was unfazed at the news of the dreary forecast for her DFW senior portraits. With a big smile and bright eyes, Claire led us through the maze of gardens and we were lucky to be able to keep up with the future business woman! Having an eye for style, Claire wowed us in a fur vest and a chic all black outfit with cheetah print heels. This offered a stark contrast against her natural surroundings and led to some truly unique and beautiful portraits....

The Underwoods are Texan through and through! Family Outshines Texas Countryside During Portrait Session

Easy-going, happy, and fun-loving are just a few of the words that we would use to describe the Underwood family. We met Kayla Underwood when she had her DFW senior portrait session with us back in October, and when Kacie, Kayla’s mother, saw how fantastic Kayla’s portraits were she decided to have their family’s portrait done with us as well!

A busy family, we met up with the Underwoods on a Friday evening at Luscombe Farms in Anna, Texas for some traditional and non-traditional family portraits. While Kayla is a senior this year at Heritage High School, Kyler, her brother attends Independence High School and is on their baseball team...

Olivia told us as we strolled down the streets of Downtown McKinney that she is a senior at Heritage High School. She heard about us through her good friend Kayla Underwood, who you may know from her North Dallas senior shoot with us.

Makenna strikes a power pose on a set of stairs behind a building in Downtown Denton. Colorado Native Crashes Denton Square Rock Festival

When you first roll into the Denton Square, you expect to see a beautifully quaint, small town feel, courthouse – possibly with a few college students scattered around on blankets having picnics or studying. You expect to see the soft lights of Christmas strung up in and around the trees, framed by the infamous Opera house (now a recycled book store), and the atmospheric sounds of maybe a jazz or bluegrass band playing on the corner.

What you do not expect, is a booming, devilish, and wild heavy metal concert – which is unfortunately what Makenna Kinnamon got during the first round of her DFW senior portraits...

Meghan tries to blend with her natural surroundings! Heritage High School Senior Attacked by Dog During Session

It was a nice, quiet afternoon. The sun was streaming through the trees, the creek was bubbling happily, and Tyler was getting ready to photograph Meghan, who was precariously perched on a rock.

Then, the dog attacked.

Ok, maybe it was more like a puppy. And it wasn’t really even an attack, but it did cause Meghan to fall into a fit of giggles and to try and avoid being splashed too badly...

Lauren and Emily do a squad squat! Best Friends go Head-to-Head During DFW Senior Photoshoot

Most people have someone that they call their best friend, but when you look at these photographs, it’s amazing that these two high school seniors are not physically attached at the hip!

Lauren and Emily have been best friends from birth – their mothers went to high school together and had been pretty good friends in their teenage years. When they found out that they were both pregnant at the same time, it’s no wonder Emily and Lauren seem to be bonded not only as friends but as soul sisters....
