The Best of Dallas: Bishop Arts
The Bishop Arts District is known for its close-knit small town neighborhood feel and is the home to many independent restaurants, coffee bars and boutiques. The artsy district is located in north Oak Cliff, Dallas, and just southwest of Downtown Dallas. We had senior model reps Angela, Hailey, Erin, and Isabel meet us for a fun evening of exploring and senior photos. Yes please!
We met around the intersection...
This Senior is Prepared. For. Life
One of the goals for the Boy Scouts of America is to make sure their scouts are “Prepared.For.Life”. This means that they learn a ton of different skills and earn patches as they master these different skills and techniques that help them in their lives. Whether it’s camping or sewing – once they master enough skills, these awesome scouts earn the title of Eagle Scout – the highest honor in the society. And our new favorite Eagle Scout is Frisco High School senior, Ben Whytlaw!
We had Ben’s seniority session on a warm day last fall, and
Pretty Flowers and Smelly Creeks
A popular spot in Dallas, Texas for senior photos is the gorgeous Dallas Arboretum where you can see all of the stunning flowers and water features that they have to offer! The only downside is that the arboretum closes at 5pm – which most people know that from the months of March – November means that we will be shooting at the hottest time of the day. That didn’t deter Alvarado High School senior, Taylor Raby, though – and we are so glad it didn’t!
Taylor, her mom, her nephew, and her boyfriend all met us at the studio on a bright Saturday morning for hair and makeup. We chatted about the beautiful day, as well as the heat which for a Saturday in November was in the 90’s (Texas, right?). We
A Disney Princess in Leathers and Kendra Scott
For Frisco seniors in 2017 staying up with fashion can be a chore. Altr’d State, Urban Outfitters, and Forever 21 change on a daily basis, but one thing that has stayed constant is the constant love that our seniors (and our team) have for the sparkly jewelry from Kendra Scott!
John Paull II High School senior, Addie Burlage, is no different when it comes to Kendra, but she definitely wowed our team with her awesome fashion sense – even when she walked out in a ball gown worthy of a Disney Princess.
Even though these Texas seniors love to stay up with the times whether it’s with the new Snapchat filters or the latest Youtube challenge, they honor our traditions with vigor and pride. Cotillion is a
Lost? This Senior Will Find You Wherever You Are
It is not every day that you meet a senior like Josie Drury from Alvarado High School! We were so pumped for this session because Josie brought Moose, her beautiful blood hound, to her senior shoot! These awesome duo works for a non-profit volunteer organization called Search One Rescue Team, or SORT for short. These amazing people donate their time and effort to...
Senior Nearly Dies During Photo Shoot
Texas weather being Texas weather, the summer this year lasted much longer than it normally does. We had a few cold front pop through, but because there was not a full freeze, the evil mosquitos that plague Dallas never really died. So when we decided to explore an abandoned building in Downtown Celina for Wakeland High School senior Jake Ellsworth, it shouldn’t have surprised us that not even bug spray could keep us safe.
We met Jake on the
Smart, Sassy, and Stunning Senior Pictures
You know it’s going to be a good shoot when your model walks in with her fashionable outfits pre-planned, jewelry hanging neatly from the hangers, and shoes that match each ensemble to perfection.
This isn’t senior model rep, Melissa Castillo’s, first shoot with us though. As part of our program, Melissa has been in at least three other sessions, including our slumber party session as well as our vintage ice cream parlor session earlier this year! We’ve also had a blast at her best friend session with her brother Damien
To Be or Not To Be Isn't A Question on This Senior's Mind
For a senior in our day in age, figuring out what you want to do with your life is the biggest and hardest question to answer around. But when we asked the lovely Gillian, a senior at Plano West Sr. High School, what she wanted to study in school, it took less than a millisecond for her to tell us about her goals for Broadway.
While she was getting her hair and makeup done by one of our hair and makeup artists, Gillian told us about the many different parts she had held over the years under the stage lights both at school and in professional companies.
