Such a fun session! Senior on the Prairie

Ally Smith isn’t a whole like the characters from Little House on the Prairie, but being a Texas senior definitely means that we are plenty of prairies, fields, and just generally open land in abundance. And this particular prairie was right behind her house!

We met Ally and her family at their home out on some cattle land in Celina, Texas. We took a few photos around the pool and when our team saw the stunning acres their home is backed up to, we asked if we could hop the fence to grab a few photos! The Smiths are good friends with the neighbors who own the land, and after a quick phone call we h

We met Laura at The Style House after one our hair and makeup team members was finished polishing off her look for her 2017 senior photos. Bright blue eyes and Laura's brilliant smile told our team that we were going to head out to Arbor Hills Nature Preserve to start

Sophie Ervin comes to our studio from Flower Mound High School! We were so excited to photograph this unique and stunning Senior Model Rep, because she brought a few experiences that many of our seniors would love to hear about! For example – Sophie spent a year in France on her own as an exchange student. How cool is that?! She also works at an amazing bakery in Highland Village called The Flour Shop, and told us that her favorite part is helping her boss decorate the cakes and cupcakes! Tristan poses in front of a rainbow!! Headbangers, Street Art, and Senior Pictures

If you’ve never seen a man in Chubbies, Sperrys, and a polo hat head-banging to a metal rock band in Deep Ellum, then you haven’t lived. Or, at least, you haven’t laughed as hard in amazement as we have. When we first met Tristan, his mom Heather, and his uncle Dan, we were behind the slightly sketchy 7 Eleven down on Elm St. in Deep Ellum. Deep Ellum is an amazing place to have your North Texas senior pictures done because of all of the cool textures and neat atmosphere. But be warned – there are a few crazy characters that hang around the many music venues and restaurants down there so you’re more than likely going to have one or two fun and a little strange conversations. Especially if you’re like us and take lights with you wherever you go!

You would think that we would just throw in the hat and move on to a different location. But, no. Our team was determined to show off Liberty High School Senior, Lauren Burrell, and to capture some bright and lovely photos of her among the tall grass and trees that Mt. Zion is well-known for.

Markee looks gorgeous in this photo. Senior Torn Between Canada and the US

Ok, we’re exaggerating. Heritage High School Senior Markee Williamson has lived in the US for over seven years, so she’s obviously happy living here. Although, she did tell us while we explored Downtown Prosper that she missed poutine, a Canadian delicacy that includes french fries and a large amount of gravy. Our team thinks that we would miss that too.

Markee first reached out to us over the summer, and told us how excited she was to be a senior and how pumped she was to have her senior photos with us! So it was no surprise that we were equally as excited when we were able to have her session soon after school started. With the year slowly moving toward the holidays, and the days begin to shorten, our team was a little nervous we would run out of light before heading out to Downtown Prosper.
