Standing in the middle of the street usually isn’t advisable, but Mikaela Tisdale, a senior at Wakeland High School showed no fear striking a pose at the Shops of Legacy during her DFW senior portrait session. This bravery may have been honed through her time as a third baseman for her high school’s softball team, and let us tell you, being on a high school varsity sport is not an easy thing to accomplish!

Admiring the lights that were put up for the holiday season, we strolled around the Shops at Legacy with Mikaela and her boyfriend, Addison. When the subject of college came up, Mikaela said that she planned to try and go to OSU in the fall, but that she was really hoping to be able to go off to college with fellow Senior Model Rep and best friend, Reid Parr, who you may recognize from her senior session with us or even her group session with Makenna and Madison!

With an amazing makeup job done by The Makeup Junkie, we were able to capture Mikaela’s spirit against the gorgeous glow of the Christmas lights, and we can say that we LOVED Mikaela’s dark lipstick, a fashion staple this fall!

The future criminal justice major knows one or two things about justice having grown up as one of four girls! We headed back to the studio where we had a surprise visit from Reid and from Mikaela’s cousin!

We really enjoyed photographing Mikaela for her senior photo session, and it was wonderful to see how loved and supported she was by her friends!

"We did Alex's senior pictures here and we had a great time. Tyler and Stacia did a great job of walking us through the selection process so we would be happy with our final products." - Jackie Schenck

Travis Kassab

Travis Kassab looks handsome in his senior portraits

"As a typical senior guy I was completely indifferent about senior pictures at first. I had my mom do all of the research, and luckily she came upon Tyler and Stacia. While driving to the shooting location, I remember wondering what to expect. All anxiety melted away right after meeting Tyler. The whole photo shoot was extremely professional with an easy-going, personable twist. I felt reassured that my pictures would come out great, but relaxed enough to take some good shots. If I could do it all again, it would still be Tyler and Stacia all the way!" - Travis Kassab
