We met up with Travis at White Rock Lake for a few senior portraits down by the place where he rows crew. We couldn't get out on the water, so we just hung out around the dock, the pump house and that whole area, shooting from spot to spot. It was a very laid back shoot. Heather was on hand to help out with the lights, and mom was never too far away holding all of Travis' stuff.
After White Rock, we drove downtown, to Deep Ellum, and walked the streets, ducking into every nook we found. There are tons of great textures down there, and I think we put Travis up against every one.
Travis is a J.J. Pearce High School senior, here in Richardson, TX. He knew Sarah another one of our Pearce seniors, well he knew of her anyways. Small world.
As a typical senior guy I was completely indifferent about senior pictures at first. I had my mom do all of the research, and luckily she came upon Tyler and Stacia. While driving to the shooting location, I remember wondering what to expect. All anxiety melted away right after meeting Tyler. The whole photo shoot was extremely professional with an easy-going, personable twist. I felt reassured that my pictures would come out great, but relaxed enough to take some good shots. If I could do it all again, it would still be Tyler and Stacia all the way!
We really enjoyed our time with Travis. He told me about heading up to Seattle to go to the University of Washington for college. I told him about my time in the great northwest, and I know he's going to be just fine up there. Say hi to my family for me, Travis! Hop on over to Travis' senior page to see more!
