With at the very least, three different string instruments, as well as an armful of sketchbooks, Jordan Gosnell marched into our studio with an air of confidence and a bright, gorgeous smile! We were so excited to be working with another artist, and this time she was a senior at Legacy Christian Academyas well!

Because she was artistic, Jordan wanted a few photos that expressed her inner self, but she also wanted a rustic look where she could be girly and wear some nice dresses. We decided Historic Downtown McKinney was the perfect spot for one of her locations, so after having her hair and makeup done at the studio we trekked out with some smoke bombs in our pockets and gorgeous weather overhead.

Once there, we ducked in and out of alleyways, took in the smell of freshly made waffle cones from an ice cream parlor and explored the lovely downtown area while capturing amazing photos of Jordan! When we found a small enough alley, we gave our smoke bombs to Jordan’s mom and sister who joined us for Jordan’s session, and let them rip!

Just for the record – we had no idea that we would make such a large cloud of smoke. It enveloped what seemed like half of Downtown, and we didn’t discuss it, but our team quickly walked to the car, jumped in, and headed to the next location as fast as possible!

When we arrived at Towne Lake Park, Jordan posed for us with her acoustic guitar and told us about her plans for school in the fall. Her dream is to work for Pixar and to make animated films – and with this North Texas senior’s talent, we wouldn’t be surprised if she animated the next big movie!
