Senior Anna Rodriguez walked into our studio with peculiar request. Apparently, Anna had this retro Barney lunch box that wasn’t just a fashion statement, but a blast from the past! All through kindergarten, Anna carried Barney with her to school every day as he was her favorite dinosaur and it gave her comfort to have him with her. Somehow, she’s kept this special part of her childhood all through these years, and now as a senior wanted to include the sweet lunch box in her North Texas senior photos.

Because she had chosen our Seniority session package, Anna had a choice of 2 different locations anywhere in DFW. Because it was a little hot out, she chose our studio for one of her locations, and after we had our fill of high-fashion lighting and fun props, we followed her family out to Arbor Hills Nature Preserve as her second location. With its rolling hills, gorgeous flowers, and bubbling creek, Arbor Hills is an awesome spot for a Texas senior to get her photos done!

Although you do have to worry about ants and various wild life, our team had an absolutely stunning day to work with and an even lovelier model who was down to trump through tall grass and climb trees. We found one tree in particular that almost stole the show! In a small alcove down one of the many trails at Arbor Hills, we found an old oak tree that had a limb stretching to the ground. Anna being adventurous climbed the tree while our team snapped photos of her in various poses on, in and around it! Add a smoke bomb and BOOM! Instant photographer nirvana!

Anna was just amazing to work with and we can’t wait to work with her and her family sometime soon for their family session!
