We know the saying is that someone is ‘thrown for a loop’ but we couldn’t pass up the invariable pun for Lauren’s favorite sport. Lauren McKeen is a senior this year at Frisco Liberty High School, and a star player on their varsity basketball team. While having her hair and makeup done, Lauren told our team that she plans on playing in college next year and we can’t wait to see where she decides to go!
As we worked through a few poses in the studio to loosen up, Lauren told us that she lives in Newman Village just down the street from the studio! So we packed up and headed over to the gorgeous clubhouse right in the middle of the neighborhood. We absolutely love the architecture of the clubhouse and the surrounding lawn, so we spent a hot minute there posing Lauren both inside and outside of the stone covered building and rosy walkways.
The sun caught up with us so we trekked out to Downtown Prosper for some photo opts with the old brick wall on the side of the Cotton Gin Café and headed out to the grain silo to catch the sunset over the green fields. Once we lost the sun, our group bundled up against the chill and set off for the Shops at Legacy. Because of the gorgeous lights that the shops sets up for Christmas, we were able to light up Lauren, even though it was completely dark. With a sparkling golden dress, Lauren bravely climbed up the side of a fountain and posed as Tyler snapped a few quick shots.
We strolled down the street for a few more photos, but it had dropped ten degrees outside and Lauren, as beautiful as she looked in her dress was shivering and in need of some french fries (as we all are on most of our shoots). We met up with Lauren’s mom, Una, and bade farewell to the lovely redhead.
Our team had a great time working with Lauren and we are very excited to see how the rest of her basketball season unfolds!
