From A Senior's Perspective: Chelsea
Although we love all of our clients, because our Senior Model Reps are with us all year long, we are able to have a special bond with these amazing young people! We love that we get to hang out with them as they move through their senior year, make big decisions for college, and help them have some gorgeous photos that they will have for forever.
Senior Model Rep, Chelsea Roemer, had a great time with us during her senior year at Richardson High School. Over the year, Chelsea joined us for multiple shoots, had her hair and makeup done by our fantastic hair and makeup artists, and showed off her amazing volleyball..
We Fell for the Burrell Family
With 3 girls, it’s no wonder that this family was so pumped for their family photos! All three of the awesome sisters were dressed to fit their personalities, and it definitely cemented the idea in our minds that just because you’re related that does not mean you’re exactly the same!
Even though their personalities are so different, their love for one another and their parents shown brightest during their session at a cute park across the street from the studio. We met the Burrell family when Lauren, the middle sister, contacted us about her senior portraits back in October...
Our First Love: Mom
After carrying us around for 9 months and enduring all of the ups and downs of pregnancy, it’s no wonder that our first love is always our mothers. They nurture us, hug us, and give us kisses when we need them most. Moms are there to keep us smiling and to teach us how to love the way they...
Ms Hannah Begins Our Journey
Everyone has a starting point and ours was with Ms. Hannah. Born to a dear friend of Tyler and Stacia’s you could argue that Hannah was part of the reason we started to photograph little bundles of joy. Not wanting to take the traditional route of photographing newborns in their birthday suit, Hannah’s mom brought adorable pink knit diaper cover and a matching headband. While her brother and sister played with a few of the toys we keep at the studio, we photographed Hannah all snuggled up in her grandmother’s blanket. Although Hannah was not interested in falling asleep for...
Fly Away With Us Into The Past
This shoot, in a word, was awesome. We couldn’t believe it when we got word that McKinney International Airport was willing to let us use their runway for a photoshoot. But it didn’t end there. When our team contacted Eric – the airports coordinator, he had a surprise for us. Eric had spoken with an owner of a NC21104 Stinson Reliant SR-10 a.k.a.: a REALLY cool plane.
Tom, the plane’s owner, had found the old plane and completely restored it to it’s original glory. And let us..
Join Us For A New Adventure
Welcome to our very first blog post as newborn photographers!
As most people in Frisco know, we are one of the prominent senior photographers in the area. So, we’re sure everyone is wondering: why babies? Well, it all started with a pregnancy test. My wife, Stacia, brought the fateful stick to me with a smile on her face. “Surprise!” she had said, and I nearly fainted.
Knowing that a baby would change the..
Modeling is a Walk in the Park - Not
If you think that modeling is as easy as it looks, then Riley, Lauren, and Sophie could tell you a thing or two.
Thankfully, these lovely ladies have modeling experience. While Riley and Sophie are a part of our 2016 Senior Model Team, Lauren had a Model for a Day session with us earlier this year. Normally, we wouldn’t ask models outside of our Senior Model team to join us on a group shoot, but Lauren is Riley’s best friend and it was her birthday!
The seniors from Liberty High School and Flower Mound High School met...
From A Senior's Perspective: Savannah
Although we love all of our clients, because our Senior Model Reps are with us all year long, we are able to have a special bond with these amazing young people! We love that we get to hang out with them as they move through their senior year, make big decisions for college, and help them have some gorgeous photos that they will have for forever....
Jeep Makes Seniors Go Wild
If you know someone who owns a Jeep, you know that it’s serious business – seriously fun business! The ‘Jeep culture’ that has taken over America is nothing but pure awesome, and we were lucky enough to hang out with Carrollton Christian Academy Senior Devin Daryanani on one Saturday afternoon, and his beautiful white Jeep.
Devin and his mom, Kelli, headed up to our studio on one of these glorious Saturdays this past January when the temperature was in the mid-60s and the sun...
Go Cruzin' With Our Team
Pardon the pun, but when you have an opportunity as good as that, would you pass it up? Of course not! That’s also what we told Lone Star High School Senior, Nathalia Cruz, when she came to us saying that one of her friends was willing to let us use their mansion as a backdrop for Nathalia’s senior portraits!
When we go to what Nathalia called ‘the house’ we were stunned. Hidden in a neighborhood, the ‘house’ was a sprawling masterpiece. Gorgeous paintings covered the walls and were reflected in the gorgeous marble flooring. With beautiful antique furniture and wide windows, the space was breath taking and had our team gasping every time we entered ...
Volleyball is Life - Or At Least it is to These Seniors
When you have as many volleyball players as we do on our Senior Model Rep Team – you have to have a volleyball themed session!
Rachel Rhoades, Chelsea Roemer, and Gabi Norsworthy joined us in the studio for a fun and quick session surrounding their favorite game. You should recognize all of these gorgeous young ladies as they have been in multiple shoots with us. Rachel’s been in the Summer Florals Session earlier this year, as well as the recent Winter session, and...
Madi Hits Her Mini Softball Session Out of This World
If you haven’t already recognized this sassy redhead from her other sessions this year, let us introduce Ms. Madi Meyers. Madi joined our senior model team last summer as an Elite Model, and started off her career with us dressed up with Morgan Stewart and Carly Garrett during our Hispter themed session.
We saw Madi again in the fall for her personal session at...
How You Should Have Dressed This Past Fall
Riding boots, scarves, and over sized sweaters ruled the town this past fall, and we had senior model reps Gabi Norsworthy and Jocelynn Livingston show us what’s what in the fashion world.
The two model reps are fantastic friends that actually met through their passion: volleyball. While our team had no idea the two knew each other, when we met up with our models at Watters Creek in Allen, it was obvious the girls were good ...
A New Years Resolution That'll Have You Throwing Your Guns Up
As we start off the New Year, we all have our resolutions. Whether yours is to lose weight, to make more money, or to spend more time with your family – it’s no surprise that with change comes hardships. For this Hobbs High School senior though, change is nothing but a good thing.
Leslie Shows drove all the way from Hobbs, New Mexico, to come to our studio in North Dallas for her basic senior session. While they were still stretching from the 6 hour drive, Leslie...
Rising Star Takes Senior Portraits in Frisco
It’s not often that we have clients whose neighborhoods are so beautiful that you want to photograph them in it! Raven Donner, a senior this year at Frisco High School, came to us for a Model for a Day session which means she gets unlimited locations along with more than six hours of session time with our team. She had one unusual request: that we take some photos of her in her neighborhood.
Now, Raven doesn’t live in just any neighborhood. Raven lives in Willow Pond – a sprawling neighborhood with pockets of gorgeous...
The Christmas Blues Can't Get These Two Seniors
The bells are jingling, kids are caroling, trees are sparkling, and couples are attempting to ice skate without breaking an ankle. That’s right: it’s Christmas time in Texas.
When Rachel and Maddie met our team at Frisco Square it was mildly cold at 60 degrees. As most Dallas Texans are aware, the weather has its own mind and will and the weather men can only guess at what the temperature will be on a day to day basis. We chatted with the lovely two Senior Model Reps, Maddie Snowden, a senior at Heritage High School, and Liberty...
Beautiful Senior Portraits Made at Stunning Aubrey Horse Ranch
Talk about breathtaking. Our team stared in awe as Georgia Scalfano, a senior this year at Trinity Christian Academy, jumped out of the car and gave her friend a big hug. We were totally unprepared for the sight before us, and we’re sure our faces were a sight to behold.
Little did we know that the week before her Model for a Day session that Georgia would come down with appendicitis! Determined to have her senior portraits done, Georgia and her mother came to the studio in November and declared with a flourish that she was going to “have this senior portrait session if it was the last thing I do!” We laughed and assured her that we would take...
Can You Be As Stunning As This Senior
It was a gorgeous day. Fall is our favorite time of year to take senior portraits in North Dallas. The weather is cool, but not too cold, the leaves on the trees are beginning to turn, and the skies are clear and rain free for the most part.
Senior Sarah Khan met our team at the studio and we immediately knew that we were in for a fun shoot. If you know Sarah, then you know that she is quick to smile but has an arsenal of sass underneath, so it was no surprise that this...
Basketball Player Throws Photographer For A Hoop
We know the saying is that someone is ‘thrown for a loop’ but we couldn’t pass up the invariable pun for Lauren’s favorite sport. Lauren McKeen is a senior this year at Frisco Liberty High School, and a star player on their varsity basketball team. While having her hair and makeup done, Lauren told our team that she plans on playing in college next year and we can’t wait to see where she decides to go!
As we worked through a few poses in the studio to loosen up, Lauren told us that she lives in Newman Village just down the street from the studio! So we...
Senior Blows Photographer Away
We trudged up the hill of Mt. Zion Cemetery to the music of honking horns, bulldozers, and the general white noise of construction. The once gorgeous hill located off of 423 and mere minutes from our studio, was now surrounded by dirt mounds and bright orange cones. You would think that we would just throw in the hat and move on to a different location. But, no. Our team was determined to show off Liberty High School Senior, Lauren Burrell, and to capture some bright and lovely photos of her among the tall grass and trees that Mt. Zion is well-known for.
It’s no surprise to our team that we were able to grab beautiful shots of Lauren, even with John Deere singing his heart out just behind her. This All-American Diver is no stranger to focus, and she just smiled through the noise and as...
