Charis comes to us from Allen High School and was a model for a day. We kicked off her shoot in studio, with lots of shoes! This girl loves her shoes and she wasn’t afraid to bring them. After packing up our gear, we headed out to Adriatica Village, McKinney, Texas. We wandered around the village capturing Charis’ personality with a multitude of backdrops.

Next stop, Dallas West End… Driving down the road, with Charis and parents following, we spot some old farm equipment in a pasture just off the road. We were on the brakes and off roading; this was an opportunity we were not going to miss out on! Old rusted out farm equipment, weeds and tall grasses, large open field, long-standing fence line, golden sun…add gorgeous girl, and walk away with absolutely stunning photographs! Best.detour.ever!

Okay, now really, on to the West End. Arriving just as the sunset, we took advantage of every chance we could to capture backdrops before we lost all natural light. However, we happened to be going for the after-dark look. We made the rounds down N. Market Street, where trees are wrapped with lights. These lights, along with our strobes, well, her beauty just radiates. We ended this models session in an alley with neon lights.

Thank you, Charis, for allowing us to take endless pictures and being such a great model! We wish you well and continued success as you head off to college at UNT.

Maddie rocked her session!

“The Tyler R. Brown Photography Company is nothing short of amazing! My senior pictures were everything I could have ever wanted and beyond! Working with their team was such an amazing experience all around! When I first started to choose my locations they were so helpful in throwing in suggestions of places with such character that I had never heard of.

That’s one of the many amazing parts of being a Senior Model Rep, you get to travel around the DFW area and view so many wonderful places with such character that are so unique that you would have never even thought of visiting. Tyler R. Brown captured my senior year memories in pictures that will last a lifetime. My hair and makeup looked so on fleek, I didn’t even know my hair could look as good as it did, and I can’t forget my eyebrows and eyeshadow, just perfect!

For my personal session we drove to a beautiful privately owned farm property by the name of Luscombe Farms and besides the fact that my makeup was melting off in the scorching hot sun, my pictures turned out simply stunning. Macy and I together came up with cute, creative, and some country poses to do to get that country yet chic look. From sitting inside of a truck to cruising through sunflowers, it all felt like an adventure!

On a separate note, being a Senior Model Rep for their team was such a great once in a lifetime opportunity. As a rep I was able to do separate shoots that had creative themes and met some people that I now call some of my closest besties. The photo shoots were set up to be in groups which allowed me to hop out of my comfort zone and meet other people that attend different high schools, in Frisco and even outside of Frisco.

If it wasn’t for doing Tyler R. Brown photography I wouldn’t have gotten the chance to meet the amounts of friends that I did. For example, several of the girls loved coffee so we got the chance to go to Downtown McKinney and shoot as the coffee shop, Filtered which was so much fun just making memories and sipping coffee all while taking fabulous photos. The environment in the studio was overall welcoming and so much fun, the crew really knows how to make you laugh and catch that funky side on camera.

I would highly recommend taking all your portraits with them; my friends, family, and I will definitely be back to take more.”
