It’s a good thing the rain can’t make it into our studio because we had the first round of our annual cap and gown shoots! It was a parade of gorgeous girls from all over the DFW metroplex, starting with 2015 senior model rep Brooke Sauls! Brooke, a senior from McKinney North is heading off to Wartburg University in Iowa for college in the fall!
We were soon joined by Jordan and Haley, seniors from Centennial and Heritage High School! Jordan hopped into our studio sporting some spiffy boots and rocked a Dallas Baptist University shirt while telling our team that she was excited to start her college life at DBU.
Haley brought her Team Colombia jersey which she was donning to represent Columbia in the softball world tournament this summer! After she wins, Haley told us that she’s off to Clarendon University to continue reigning as queen of the softball field.
Laughter announced Lone Star senior, Madison’s, arrival and this Kilgore girl flounced into our studio with a wide smile as she explained that her tryouts were in July and how excited she was to start them. Kayla, another Heritage High School senior, popped her head in soon after and snorted at the camera in salute to her college of choice: the University of Arkansas!
Kayla wasn’t the only one who was giving us a pig-sooie, Liberty High School senior, Jaedyn Avery is also heading off to the University of Arkansas in the fall! While in her cap and gown, Jaedyn’s mom, Wyndi, started to get teary eyed. Never to fear though – we always have plenty of tissues on hand!
Logan Miller soon joined the fray and jumped for joy in her ‘I’m a bison’ shirt! Oklahoma Baptist University is the home of Bisons, and Logan’s new home in the fall! Lexi and Shannon, both seniors from Lucas Christian Academy, were not far behind Logan. Being the best friends that they are, the girls jumped into a few photos together. Attached at the hip, Lexi and Shannon are running off to Texas Tech in August, and although they’re not rooming together they’re going to live in the same building!
Last, but certainly not least, was Liberty senior Taylor Hernandez. Her gorgeous blond locks were curled to perfection and her OSU shirt was tucked neatly into a pair of high-waisted jean shorts. Taylor was joined by her mother, Gayla, who told us that this summer they will be escaping to Mexico for some much needed R&R. Needless to say – we’re jealous.
We are so lucky to get to meet and hang out with such an amazing group of young women, and this is only the beginning! Look out for round two in a few weeks, it’s going to be just as exciting!
