Today we’re introducing Princeton High School senior, Kyra Skinner! Kyra is a cheerleader with Cheer Athletics and the FFA President at her school. She also shows Heifers and Steer (cattle), traveling to places like Houston, Dallas, Fort Worth, and San Antonio. Kyra moved to Texas from Kansas her freshman year of high school and we are so glad she did.

Kyra booked our Model for a Day session so of course we started her senior portraits session off with hair and makeup! We had a small glitch with hair and makeup but we pulled it off and got right back on schedule starting at Frisco Square for some urban shots of this beautiful young lady. Kyra’s mom and step-dad joined us for the session as well and we all had a blast putting Kyra into different poses, fixing her hair and clothes, and just getting to know each other.

After we finished at Frisco Square, we drove on up to the Luscombe Farms in Anna, Texas. This was our first session at this location and we were so excited to get there to see what type of backgrounds they had to offer. We will admit we were a bit skeptical but the moment we drove up we knew we had found a new favorite location! They had an old barn, Dr. Pepper sign, a tree swing, and so much more. We had about an hour before sunset and we ended up staying until it was too dark to see anything. Once we had purchased some delicious jam from Leslie, we headed back to the studio to refuel with some pizza before finishing up the session with some studio shots.

Kyra is gorgeous and so much fun to work with! We wish her the best of luck cheering in college this Fall.
