This wedding will be one I never forget and here are just a few of the reasons why! Stephanie and Jason are absolutely hilarious people with the best attitudes I have ever seen on the “biggest” day of their lives. You know the saying with weddings that “not everything will go as planned” and you should be prepared to let those things roll off and enjoy the day anyway….well, this is exactly what Jason and Stephanie did.

Tyler and I arrived at the South MacArthur Church of Christ in Irving, Texas at approximately 10:30 am, to begin photographing pre-wedding events. The ceremony was scheduled to start at 11:30 am. Our “photo” itinerary for the day, provided by the bride, states she will be at the church at 10:30 am to get ready and take some of the “getting ready” shots.

Hiring Tyler and Stacia to shoot our wedding was one of the best decisions we made! They were professional, fun and adventurous. The photos that they took were stunning and unique, and I have received so many compliments regarding both their work and how nice they were at the wedding. I would love the opportunity to work with them again and highly recommend them if you need a photographer. Thanks guys!

Upon our arrival, there is no bride…just the groom. Not a big deal, in most cases, brides do run behind schedule, it’s to be expected. You know….things happen… 11 am comes and goes, still, no bride. At 11:15 am (15 minutes before the ceremony) Stephanie arrives (and has yet to be dressed) with her mother and sister. They exit the limo with laughter and seemed so carefree. Stephanie was ecstatic to have arrived, albeit late, but there nonetheless. After all, she knew the show would not go on without her…and everyone would wait. Lucky for the guests, they didn’t wait long. At 11:40 am, the bridal party begins their journey down the aisle. I don’t know how Stephanie managed to get ready so quickly, but she did it with a smile on her face! So what happened, why was she so late? Well… the limo showed up on time… but was at the wrong hotel. Oh well, it happens, right!

This, was by far, one of the best ceremonies I have ever witnessed. The Minister did a spectacular job, he had everyone in the church laughing and tearing up, it was truly a perfect ceremony (including Tyler and I). Vows exchanged, first kiss completed, pronouncement of husband and wife, they head down the aisle, out the door and into the limo. They were now headed to the reception venue, Maggiano’s Little Italy and NorthPark Center, Dallas, with a pit stop to get some post ceremonial pictures.

This blissful bride and groom arrived late to their reception (due to traffic between Irving and NorthPark) but again, they refused to let a schedule ruin their day! They ate, drank, and were merry. Their first dance was to the Muppets “Rainbow Connection” and man did they appear to be having fun! Their great personalities and letting the little things go…well...every Bride and Groom should follow suit.

Thank you Stephanie and Jason for being amazing people and allowing us to be a part of your special day! Congrats!
