Reedy High School Seniors Save Stuck Photographer
Reedy High School Senior Ashlee Hoxsey came to us like a ray of sunshine! This senior is energetic, hilarious, and not to mention STUNNING! We started our journey in Downtown Frisco. This location is so much fun for us! Downtown Frisco offers so many unique looks from the wide variety

Softball, Sand, and Summer Makes For an Amazing Start to Senior Year
M odel rep Taylor Trosclair helped us kick off the 2018 school year with some out of the park senior photos! We loved working with this senior during our Best of Dallas: Wild Berry Farm group session, so we knew we were in for a fun evening! We started our session in the beautiful, quaint location that is Downtown Celina . Friendly locals will make you feel right at home
Best of Dallas : The Fort Worth Stock Yards
Exploring DFW has been a blast so far, but when we woke up the morning of the Fort Worth Stock Yards Session, we knew it was going to be a good day. With a temperature already in the triple digits, our team geared up for what should have been a scorching North Texas day. But when we rolled up to the famous Fort Worth Stock Yards, there was a gentle breeze flowing through the shops, and although it smelled
There's Nothing Strange About This Fan of Stranger Things
When Hannah walked into our studio with an arm full of her personal sketchbooks, we knew we were about to have a super fun photoshoot! This talented artist just graduated from Fairhill High School, and there is no mistaking the passion she has put into her work! While she was settling in, we were able to look through a few of Hannah’s awesome drawings before we jumped into our studio to start off her seniority session – and let us tell you, we wish we had half the talent Hannah does!
Best of Dallas: Wild Berry Farm
At the beginning of the summer, TRBP took a trip to Sadler, Texas where we visited the lovely Wild Berry Farm! We had learned about the gorgeous little Texas farm through Facebook, and when we contacted the owner, Laura, she told us to come on down for a fun photo shoot with our Senior Model Reps! Although it’s a bit of a drive from Frisco, Texas, our team was pumped to pick blackberries and blueberries as well as frolic in a field of sunflowers!
Arriving at the Wild Berry Farm we were greeted warmly by the very farmers who run the whole operation. An amazing couple – Lauren and her husband welcomed us
Cheerleader Turns Senior Model For a Day
Hanah Simmons is no stranger to hard work. This Liberty High School senior is the daughter of two gymnasts who run a cheer and gymnastics program in North Texas with their own gym! She also works as a trainer at an American Ninja Warrior type gym and she told us how fun it was to try out all of the obstacles as well as teach others how to traverse them safely!
But when we scheduled a full
The Best of Dallas: Bishop Arts
The Bishop Arts District is known for its close-knit small town neighborhood feel and is the home to many independent restaurants, coffee bars and boutiques. The artsy district is located in north Oak Cliff, Dallas, and just southwest of Downtown Dallas. We had senior model reps Angela, Hailey, Erin, and Isabel meet us for a fun evening of exploring and senior photos. Yes please!
We met around the intersection...
Hear It From a Senior: Maddie Cox
Maddie is one of our lovely 2017 Senior Model Reps from Lone Star High School! She sent us this lovely message and we needed to share it with everyone:
"The Tyler R. Brown Photography Company is nothing short of amazing! My senior pictures were everything I could have ever wanted and beyond! Working with their team was such an amazing experience all around! When I first started to choose my locations they were so helpful in throwing in suggestions of places with such character that I had never heard of.
That’s one of the many amazing parts of being a Senior Model Rep, you get to travel around the DFW area and view so many wonderful places with such character that are so unique that you would have never even thought of...
Pretty Flowers and Smelly Creeks
A popular spot in Dallas, Texas for senior photos is the gorgeous Dallas Arboretum where you can see all of the stunning flowers and water features that they have to offer! The only downside is that the arboretum closes at 5pm – which most people know that from the months of March – November means that we will be shooting at the hottest time of the day. That didn’t deter Alvarado High School senior, Taylor Raby, though – and we are so glad it didn’t!
Taylor, her mom, her nephew, and her boyfriend all met us at the studio on a bright Saturday morning for hair and makeup. We chatted about the beautiful day, as well as the heat which for a Saturday in November was in the 90’s (Texas, right?). We
A Senior Who's Smile is Brighter Than the Sun
Meeting Creekview High School senior Laura Doocy is what convinced our team that we needed her to be a part of our 2017 senior model rep team. Smart, stunning, and talented, Laura is also super sweet and funny to boot!
We met Laura at The Style House after one our hair and makeup team members was finished polishing off her look for her 2017 senior photos. Bright blue eyes and Laura's brilliant smile told our team that we were going to head out to Arbor Hills Nature Preserve to start
Nothing Can Hold This Senior Down - Especially Rain
In our business, it's not unusual to be halfway to the location of a North Texas senior session and for the skies to suddenly darken and open up without any warning. This is what happened to Maddie Stowers when we were just finishing up her hair and makeup in our studio in Frisco, Texas.
It was sprinkling in Frisco, so our team decided that we would just head out to Downtown McKinney and try to see what we could get! We're so glad that we did, we
Classy and Classic Dallas Senior Photos
Brooke Williams is many things, but our team for sure know that both her class and her kindness stickout the most!
Brooke is a 2017 top model in our senior model rep program, and with a week left before the beginning of her senior year, we had her North Dallas senior photo session in the blazing heat of Texas in July. Although it was a toasty one, we met Brooke and her mom, Emily, out at Minter’s in Plano, Texas. Minter’s is a high-end Thunderbird repair and restoration shop that has been in business for over fiv...
Seniors Across DFW Come Together
You would have thought we started the largest dust storm on the planet with the way the powder floated across the fields and down the street towards the lake. It was a colorful cloud though and it was followed by laughter and excitement as our 2017 Senior Model Reps and their friends assaulted each other with Holi Powder – the powder...
Be the King of Your Castle
If Micah Lloyd was in charge of the world, baseball would be a year-round sport. With a bright smile and a sunny attitude, Micah told us that his high school, Hebron High School, nearly made it to state this past year – which is why he waited so long to have his senior pictures done!
After graduating last Monday, we finally got to meet Micah and his mom, Capri. The rain prevented us from getting out to take Micah’s photos, but the sunshine was well worth the wait. We snagged a few photos at their lovely...
Shop Till You Drop
Tt’s the beginning of summer and with a new season comes the need to refurbish our wardrobes! Senior model reps Maddie, Anneliese, and Shelley joined our team out at the shops at Watters Creek to do a little bit of retail therapy.
School is closed for the holiday, and our brand new seniors were excitedly talking about their year to come. Maddie, a senior at Lone Star High School has already been on a few shoots with us, including both her best friend session with Haley, as...
Under Their Umbrella-Ella-Ella
Someone in the DFW area did a mega rain dance this past month because it has been nearly consistently rainy and humid for the last few weeks. And after having to reschedule Maddie Cox’s best friend session with Haley nearly four times, we finally just said enough was enough.
The best friends met us at Frisco Square with their cutest pair of rain boots and a couple of umbrellas. Luckily for us, the rain had subsided long enough for us to capture Maddie and Haley’s awesome friendship. Between jumping in puddles, playing in the fountains, and talking about summer plans our team was able to experience the true bond...
An Utterly Divine Senior Shoot
There are a few things Texas is known for. We are known for crazy weather, everything being bigger and better, and most certainly our barbecue. But what about the people who make that delicious BBQ possible?
Meet Senior Model Rep Brooke Williams. Brooke, who is a senior this fall at Lone Star High School, runs her very own cattle business which she started at the young age of 12 when her grandparents bought her her first cow. Brooke, being...
Strong IS Beautiful
TV shows like American Gladiators, American Ninja Warrior, and Spartan: Ultimate Team Challenge have increased in popularity over the past few years. Twitter and Instagram are littered with tips, tricks, and ideas for clean eating and a healthy lifestyle over all. Yoga pants sales are booming, and our team will wear workout gear on a North Dallas Senior photo shoot because of their breezy (and sweat resistant) materials.
Without saying much more, it’s very obvious that fitness is at the forefront of many minds these days, so we thought...
Wallflowers Have Nothing on These Wildflowers
To say that best friends Haylee and Tyler are outgoing is an understatement. With Tyler’s easy-going laugh and Haylee’s bright smile, it was amazing to see them photographed together.
With completely opposite complexions, you would think they would look awkward side-by-side, but these two complimented each other on the two different sessions we had with them. See, as models they were in a group session together and as Top Models for our team, they also received a free best friend session! So we had to snag a few of them together at the Camping group session at Hidden Cove, and of course blended them in with their best friend ...
Blue Eyed, Blonde, and BOOT-iful
Anneliese and Olivia have been friends for as long as they can remember. With their gorgeous blue eyes that match their beautiful personalities, it’s no wonder that they gravitate to one another so easily. We adored their matching outfits that matched their eyes, and we were very excited to get started on their best friend session!
Arbor Hills Nature Preserve, with its gorgeous wildflowers and rolling hills, was the perfect place for us to photograph...
Chew Making Me CRAZY
It’s not every day that one of our seniors will ask if they can wear a Chewbacca onesie to their North Dallas Senior Photo session, but when asked it was without any hesitation that our team screamed yes!
When we first heard from Mikenzie, we expected her to be a very serious young lady that wanted no funny business. She told us that she’s not only double majoring, but she’s TRIPLE majoring at the University of Arizona next year, and she hopes to be working in the Criminal Justice field in the future. But when she whipped out the onsie, we knew that this smarty had a pretty big funny bone. Apparently at her yearbook pictures for Independence High School where Mikenzie is a senior this year, she wore a Jurassic Park T-shirt. So she...
The Perfect Match
Kailyn Gauff is another one of our awesome 2017 senior model reps, and she comes to us from Lone Star High School. You should definitely recognize her from our fantastic Slumber Party Session with Alana and Melissa! When posed with the question of who should be in her best friend session, she immediately thought of ...
Ying and Yang in the Flesh
To say that seniors Alana and Lauren are opposites is a bit of an overstatement. Although the wacky friends are different, you can tell within the first few seconds of seeing them together that they fit each other’s personalities like a glove.
Kicking off the session with a sweet gift for her best friend, Alana showed us the adorable ying and yang necklace that she bought for her and Lauren. We conspired with...
JFK Makes An Appearance During Senior Photo Session
Walking around quaint Downtown McKinney is always a pleasure, but Prosper High School senior, Regan Pettis, made it even more so during her North Dallas senior photo shoot!
We first me the spunky blonde and her mom, Nikki, in Downtown McKinney on a warm Saturday afternoon. Luckily for us, the impending rain disappeared and left us with a gorgeous clear Texas sky, and we immediately got to work!
It wasn’t long for us to realize that Regan isn’t just any other senior. This girl...
These Two Prove You Should Date Your Best Friend
It is said that you should always try to date your best friend, and Logan and Mari showed us why during their best friend session this past April.
Logan is a part of our 2017 model rep program, so as a model he received a fun session with his best friend, and although we were pleasantly surprised he chose to have Mari, his girlfriend of three years, join him on it, we soon saw why. Mari and Logan are a perfect match!
As we strolled around the pond at the Shops at Legacy, Logan and Mari told us that they had walked to Chick-fil-A on...
The Dallas Skyline Has Nothing On This Senior
Is we stood on the roof at the NYLO Hotel, we watch the ominous cloud move across the northern sky like an angry horde of bees. We also sighed in relief – we had avoided the hail and the weather that would have ruined our session!
Sophie Ervin comes to our studio from Flower Mound High School! We were so excited to photograph this unique and stunning Senior Model Rep, because she brought a few experiences that many of our seniors would love to hear about! For example – Sophie spent a year in France on her own as an exchange student. How cool is that?! She also works at an amazing bakery in Highland Village called The Flour Shop, and told us that her favorite part is helping her boss decorate the cakes and cupcakes! For this senior, we knew we had to step up our game...
Headbangers, Street Art, and Senior Pictures
If you’ve never seen a man in Chubbies, Sperrys, and a polo hat head-banging to a metal rock band in Deep Ellum, then you haven’t lived. Or, at least, you haven’t laughed as hard in amazement as we have. When we first met Tristan, his mom Heather, and his uncle Dan, we were behind the slightly sketchy 7 Eleven down on Elm St. in Deep Ellum. Deep Ellum is an amazing place to have your North Texas senior pictures done because of all of the cool textures and neat atmosphere. But be warned – there are a few crazy characters that hang around the many music venues and restaurants down there so you’re more than likely going to have one or two fun and a little strange conversations. Especially if you’re like us and take lights with you wherever you go!
We started off down one of the side streets and while we were getting Tristan warmed up for the shoot, he looked over and noted that there was a ‘frat guy’ moshing (a dance phenomenon that’s more like fighting...
Caffeine Is The Name Of The Game
As a nation that is constantly moving towards progress and goals, coffee is a strong factor in our day to day lives. Or at least it is for our team and senior model reps Taylor, Maddie, and Annie!
The lovely ladies met us for their group session in Downtown McKinney at an adorable coffee shop called fILTER(ed) to kick off their North Dallas Senior pictures. The amazing staff there granted us the ability to photograph in their little shop and with all of the neat things they have in there.
Laughing over coffee, our models posed for us and let us capture their budding friendships and jokes! One of the managers...
From A Senior's Perspective: Chelsea
Although we love all of our clients, because our Senior Model Reps are with us all year long, we are able to have a special bond with these amazing young people! We love that we get to hang out with them as they move through their senior year, make big decisions for college, and help them have some gorgeous photos that they will have for forever.
Senior Model Rep, Chelsea Roemer, had a great time with us during her senior year at Richardson High School. Over the year, Chelsea joined us for multiple shoots, had her hair and makeup done by our fantastic hair and makeup artists, and showed off her amazing volleyball..
You Can't Bend it Like This Senior
Brooke Harden is the perfect mixture of talent and beauty. With an amazing skill on the soccer field, Brooke has been a force to be reckoned with from a young age and when she reached high school she gained a spot on a prestigious team that plays overseas against European teams each summer. But instead of just sticking to soccer to fill her time, Brooke is also an avid fashionista.
At our Urban Denim shoot earlier in the summer, Brooke impressed our team with her fashion knowledge as well as makeup skills. We could tell from her posing and accessories that her personal shoot was going to be a blast! And it was.
Senior Stops Rain for Senior Shoot
With a last name like Rachel Brown’s, how could she not have her DFW senior portraits with our studio! It had been a rainy week, and the day of Rachel’s shoot wasn’t going to be any different. Already having to reschedule once due to tornados, our team was determined to get this Brown into our studio rain or shine! Lady luck seemed to be on our side as we headed out
Are You as Nimble as This Senior? We Don’t Think So
Gorgeous, a gymnast, a reader, and a braniac; Shannon Dyer is a senior after our hearts. When we photographed her older sister, Lauren, back in 2012, we knew that she was a hoot and couldn’t expect anything less from Shannon! With a spritely attitude and an outgoing spirit, Shannon dazzled us with her smile and big blue eyes as we strolled along the paths at Arbor Hills Nature Preserve in Plano, Texas.
While walking through the denser part of the woods, we found a side of the creek that runs through Arbor Hills that we have not seen before...
When Geese Attack – A Seriously Fowl Situation
A gallant yell emerged from our studio as Liberty High School senior, Ethan Luman, roared into the camera followed by laughter as our team roared along with him. We had Ethan’s session at White Rock Lake, where we met Ethan and his mother Cara for his Dallas senior portrait session. Ethan is the eldest of four with a younger sister and twin younger brothers who he says always put smiles on his face.
It was an unseasonably warm day, and we were taking full advantage of it along with other Dallas natives who were jogging along the gorgeous paths lined with fall colored trees. One gentleman was sporting some bright orange running shorts, and Ethan, being outgoing, waved him down to let him know “how awesome” he thought the man’s shorts were...
2015 Senior Model Rep Group Session with Haley and Shannon
Here is the first of many sessions with our 2015 Senior Model Reps! This session includes our wonderful models, Haley Rodriguez and Shannon Dyer. Haley is a senior at Heritage High School in Frisco and Shannon is a senior at Ursuline Academy of Dallas so this was not only their first session with us, but their first time meeting each other as well...
Kyra's Exciting Urban and Country Model for a Day Session
Today we’re introducing Princeton High School senior, Kyra Skinner! Kyra is a cheerleader with Cheer Athletics and the FFA President at her school. She also shows Heifers and Steer (cattle), traveling to places like Houston, Dallas, Fort Worth, and San Antonio. Kyra moved to Texas from Kansas her freshman year of high school and we are so glad she did...
World Olympic Gymnastics Academy Elite Gymnast Sophia's Senior Portrait Session
Sophia Lee is an international elite gymnast from the world renowned World Olympic Gymnastics Academy (WOGA) in Plano, TX. If you were to do an Internet search on her name, you would find her on websites like this one alongside quite a few household names in gymnastics...
Southlake Senior Portraits at the Dallas Arboretum with Molly
Southlake High School senior, Molly, met up with us at The Dallas Arboretum for her senior portrait session. Molly and her mom opted for our Seniority Session, which we knew was going to be about 3 hours. We wanted some studio shots too, so after we finished up at the Arboretum (read that as they closed the place up and kicked us out) we hit the road and headed back up to Frisco to our studio...
Unique Urban Senior Portraits in Deep Ellum with Alicea
It was an early morning for Alicea, her mom, Sonja…and for us too! This session started off at the Dallas Arboretum right as they opened the gate. Alicea showed up in a gorgeous, bright pink dress and with the Chihuly glass displays, well, what wonderful and colorful backdrops. I think we were all trying to take in the beauty of the glass while....
Unique Allen Senior Portraits with Charis Orr
Charis comes to us from Allen High School and was a model for a day. We kicked off her shoot in studio, with lots of shoes! This girl loves her shoes and she wasn’t afraid to bring them. After packing up our gear, we headed out to Adriatica Village, McKinney, Texas. We wandered around the village capturing Charis’ personality with a multitude of backdrops.
Next stop, Dallas West End… Driving down the road, with Charis and parents following, we spot some old farm equipment in a pasture just off the road. We were on the breaks and off roading; this was an opportunity we were not going to miss out on! Old rusted out farm equipment, weeds and tall grasses, large open field, long-standing fence line, golden sun…add gorgeous girl, walk away with absolutely stunning...
Tim and Alyssa Wed | Hall of State – Fair Park
Tim and Alyssa tied the knot at The Hall of State in Fair Park and we were honored to be there to photograph their nuptials. It’s not the first time we’ve been to Fair Park, but it was the first wedding we have shot down there.
Alyssa looked absolutely stunning as she walked down the aisle. The smile on Tim’s face told that story. As soon as Alyssa turned the corner, and saw her husband to be, it brought tears to her eyes, so cute! It was a beautiful evening and simply a joy for a wedding photographer. They are an amazing couple and so much fun to photograph. The wedding was flawless and I know that’s due to the hard work and planning of their wedding coordinator, DJ, and the caters...
