Reedy High School Seniors Save Stuck Photographer
Reedy High School Senior Ashlee Hoxsey came to us like a ray of sunshine! This senior is energetic, hilarious, and not to mention STUNNING! We started our journey in Downtown Frisco. This location is so much fun for us! Downtown Frisco offers so many unique looks from the wide variety
Softball, Sand, and Summer Makes For an Amazing Start to Senior Year
M odel rep Taylor Trosclair helped us kick off the 2018 school year with some out of the park senior photos! We loved working with this senior during our Best of Dallas: Wild Berry Farm group session, so we knew we were in for a fun evening! We started our session in the beautiful, quaint location that is Downtown Celina . Friendly locals will make you feel right at home
Our 2018 Seniors Take Denton by Storm
When you live in Texas, you never know what the weather is going to do. Although we had a 20% chance of precipitation – which in North Texas that could mean rain, sleet, snow, hail, frogs, etc. – our team was confident that our biggest photo shoot to date would go off without a hitch. With our models safely buckled, and some others following, we led a caravan down to Denton Square – a staple of DFW.
Lovingly known as the ‘Lil' d’, Denton
Best of Dallas : The Fort Worth Stock Yards
Exploring DFW has been a blast so far, but when we woke up the morning of the Fort Worth Stock Yards Session, we knew it was going to be a good day. With a temperature already in the triple digits, our team geared up for what should have been a scorching North Texas day. But when we rolled up to the famous Fort Worth Stock Yards, there was a gentle breeze flowing through the shops, and although it smelled
Best of Dallas: Wild Berry Farm
At the beginning of the summer, TRBP took a trip to Sadler, Texas where we visited the lovely Wild Berry Farm! We had learned about the gorgeous little Texas farm through Facebook, and when we contacted the owner, Laura, she told us to come on down for a fun photo shoot with our Senior Model Reps! Although it’s a bit of a drive from Frisco, Texas, our team was pumped to pick blackberries and blueberries as well as frolic in a field of sunflowers!
Arriving at the Wild Berry Farm we were greeted warmly by the very farmers who run the whole operation. An amazing couple – Lauren and her husband welcomed us
Best of Dallas: Downtown Fort Worth
As we continue down our quest to visiting all the hot spots in the DFW area, Downtown Fort Worth was TRBP’s next stop! We were slightly worried we would run into a bit of that Metroplex traffic like the Fort Worth Botanic Garden Session, but traffic was moving steady and we were on track to arrive at Sundance Square on time.
Cheerleader Turns Senior Model For a Day
Hanah Simmons is no stranger to hard work. This Liberty High School senior is the daughter of two gymnasts who run a cheer and gymnastics program in North Texas with their own gym! She also works as a trainer at an American Ninja Warrior type gym and she told us how fun it was to try out all of the obstacles as well as teach others how to traverse them safely!
But when we scheduled a full
Hear It From a Senior: Maddie Cox
Maddie is one of our lovely 2017 Senior Model Reps from Lone Star High School! She sent us this lovely message and we needed to share it with everyone:
"The Tyler R. Brown Photography Company is nothing short of amazing! My senior pictures were everything I could have ever wanted and beyond! Working with their team was such an amazing experience all around! When I first started to choose my locations they were so helpful in throwing in suggestions of places with such character that I had never heard of.
That’s one of the many amazing parts of being a Senior Model Rep, you get to travel around the DFW area and view so many wonderful places with such character that are so unique that you would have never even thought of...
Lost? This Senior Will Find You Wherever You Are
It is not every day that you meet a senior like Josie Drury from Alvarado High School! We were so pumped for this session because Josie brought Moose, her beautiful blood hound, to her senior shoot! These awesome duo works for a non-profit volunteer organization called Search One Rescue Team, or SORT for short. These amazing people donate their time and effort to...
A Senior Who's Smile is Brighter Than the Sun
Meeting Creekview High School senior Laura Doocy is what convinced our team that we needed her to be a part of our 2017 senior model rep team. Smart, stunning, and talented, Laura is also super sweet and funny to boot!
We met Laura at The Style House after one our hair and makeup team members was finished polishing off her look for her 2017 senior photos. Bright blue eyes and Laura's brilliant smile told our team that we were going to head out to Arbor Hills Nature Preserve to start
Nothing Can Hold This Senior Down - Especially Rain
In our business, it's not unusual to be halfway to the location of a North Texas senior session and for the skies to suddenly darken and open up without any warning. This is what happened to Maddie Stowers when we were just finishing up her hair and makeup in our studio in Frisco, Texas.
It was sprinkling in Frisco, so our team decided that we would just head out to Downtown McKinney and try to see what we could get! We're so glad that we did, we
To Be or Not To Be Isn't A Question on This Senior's Mind
For a senior in our day in age, figuring out what you want to do with your life is the biggest and hardest question to answer around. But when we asked the lovely Gillian, a senior at Plano West Sr. High School, what she wanted to study in school, it took less than a millisecond for her to tell us about her goals for Broadway.
While she was getting her hair and makeup done by one of our hair and makeup artists, Gillian told us about the many different parts she had held over the years under the stage lights both at school and in professional companies.
Fort Worth Senior Squeezes In Last Minute Session
With the last dregs of summer and the fading heat of August came our last 2016 senior. No, we’re not mistaken, we definitely meant 2016, not 2017!
Cristal Marquez may have been a little late to the game when she came to us for her senior pictures a full two months after she graduated, but that’s just how much these photos meant to this outstanding 2016 Fort Worth senior! Because of issues with work, her brother having a new baby, and trying to enjoy...
Seniors Across DFW Come Together
You would have thought we started the largest dust storm on the planet with the way the powder floated across the fields and down the street towards the lake. It was a colorful cloud though and it was followed by laughter and excitement as our 2017 Senior Model Reps and their friends assaulted each other with Holi Powder – the powder...
A Classic Kind of Summer
The 1950’s was full of swing dancing, drive-in movies, and fun outings with friends to local hotspots like the cinema and the ice cream parlor! Inspired by this wonderful time, we gathered up senior model reps Kailyn Gauff, Melissa Castillo, and Alana Wilkinson for a 1950s themed session at our favorite ice cream parlor, Beth Marie's, in Denton, Texas.
Beth Marie's has been a Denton staple...
Grab Your Flippy-Floppies
Summer is more than sunscreen and flip flops, it’s all about the water. And, more importantly, getting to hang out with your friends without the stress and worry of getting to class on time. Our team can definitely say that summer is our favorite season, and what could be a better way to express that than with a day at the lake with 2017 senior model reps Alexis, Jadzia, and Madison!
Hailing from Lone Star High School, these three top models had all of the summer essentials. From sun hats to swim suit cover ups, these awesome seniors were ready for some action when we met up at Little Elm Park where there’s a great spot to jump...
Be the King of Your Castle
If Micah Lloyd was in charge of the world, baseball would be a year-round sport. With a bright smile and a sunny attitude, Micah told us that his high school, Hebron High School, nearly made it to state this past year – which is why he waited so long to have his senior pictures done!
After graduating last Monday, we finally got to meet Micah and his mom, Capri. The rain prevented us from getting out to take Micah’s photos, but the sunshine was well worth the wait. We snagged a few photos at their lovely...
Shop Till You Drop
Tt’s the beginning of summer and with a new season comes the need to refurbish our wardrobes! Senior model reps Maddie, Anneliese, and Shelley joined our team out at the shops at Watters Creek to do a little bit of retail therapy.
School is closed for the holiday, and our brand new seniors were excitedly talking about their year to come. Maddie, a senior at Lone Star High School has already been on a few shoots with us, including both her best friend session with Haley, as...
Under Their Umbrella-Ella-Ella
Someone in the DFW area did a mega rain dance this past month because it has been nearly consistently rainy and humid for the last few weeks. And after having to reschedule Maddie Cox’s best friend session with Haley nearly four times, we finally just said enough was enough.
The best friends met us at Frisco Square with their cutest pair of rain boots and a couple of umbrellas. Luckily for us, the rain had subsided long enough for us to capture Maddie and Haley’s awesome friendship. Between jumping in puddles, playing in the fountains, and talking about summer plans our team was able to experience the true bond...
And That's a Wrap
This was an amazing year for our Team. We had an abundance of magnificent, talented, and wonderful seniors come into our studio and our hearts. We can’t thank our 2016 senior model reps enough for sharing their senior year with our studio, and for going on the many, many sessions with us!
Between the laughs, the bug bites, and the weird weather, we can’t be happier with the way our 2016 seniors looked at their sessions. We traveled all over DFW with them, from the north side of Denton to the southern area of Dallas, it was...
Taco Tuesday Never Looked So Good
For three athletic young women, Taylor, Mackenzye, and Haley blew us away with their modeling skills during their best friend session a few weeks back!
Having met while playing softball together, these three were thick as thieves by the time they entered high school and their bond just keeps growing stronger as the years passed by. They now find themselves entering their senior year, and when we asked Taylor to bring a friend with her to her free best friend session as part of our model program, she told us that there was no way she could pick between Mackenzye and Haley. So...
Chew Making Me CRAZY
It’s not every day that one of our seniors will ask if they can wear a Chewbacca onesie to their North Dallas Senior Photo session, but when asked it was without any hesitation that our team screamed yes!
When we first heard from Mikenzie, we expected her to be a very serious young lady that wanted no funny business. She told us that she’s not only double majoring, but she’s TRIPLE majoring at the University of Arizona next year, and she hopes to be working in the Criminal Justice field in the future. But when she whipped out the onsie, we knew that this smarty had a pretty big funny bone. Apparently at her yearbook pictures for Independence High School where Mikenzie is a senior this year, she wore a Jurassic Park T-shirt. So she...
The Perfect Match
Kailyn Gauff is another one of our awesome 2017 senior model reps, and she comes to us from Lone Star High School. You should definitely recognize her from our fantastic Slumber Party Session with Alana and Melissa! When posed with the question of who should be in her best friend session, she immediately thought of ...
Photographer Fights Off Alligator With Camera Body
It was like any normal session. We started off in the brilliant sunlight of a Saturday afternoon in Texas at the Hidden Cove camping grounds, and as the sunset, we lit a campfire and brought out the marshmallows. Little did we know what the dark shadows of the night would bring to our senior’s shoot.
Four of our gorgeous 2017 models met us at the studio and caravanned to the stunning Hidden Coves camping ground in The Colony, Texas. This...
Headbangers, Street Art, and Senior Pictures
If you’ve never seen a man in Chubbies, Sperrys, and a polo hat head-banging to a metal rock band in Deep Ellum, then you haven’t lived. Or, at least, you haven’t laughed as hard in amazement as we have. When we first met Tristan, his mom Heather, and his uncle Dan, we were behind the slightly sketchy 7 Eleven down on Elm St. in Deep Ellum. Deep Ellum is an amazing place to have your North Texas senior pictures done because of all of the cool textures and neat atmosphere. But be warned – there are a few crazy characters that hang around the many music venues and restaurants down there so you’re more than likely going to have one or two fun and a little strange conversations. Especially if you’re like us and take lights with you wherever you go!
We started off down one of the side streets and while we were getting Tristan warmed up for the shoot, he looked over and noted that there was a ‘frat guy’ moshing (a dance phenomenon that’s more like fighting...
Sweet Dreamy Smiles
Precious smiles warm our team’s heart, and when Enzo graced us with a few yawns and a lot of sweet, dreamy smiles our hearts were nearly bursting!
Getting comfy and falling asleep on mom’s shoulder, our team was able to capture a few moments of the little family before we moved Mr. Enzo over to our big bean bag for a nap. Although he was not feeling the best, an...
Stuffed Animals and Coca Cola
Two things matter when you turn one: stuffed animals, and being cute enough to get what you want. And Mr. Lochlyn has both!
Those big blue eyes turned our team to mush, and Lochlyn’s sweet laugh rang through our studio when his mom made faces at him. His favorite part? Reading to his animals! Lochlyn loved to sit among his friends and read to them while our team caught the moment, and his smiles!
We convinced little Lochlyn to sit still for about two seconds in our coca cola wagon, but after that, he was off to get a hug from mom or to play with his stuffed animals! We were so happy to...
Prettier Than A Sunflower
Flowers are beautiful, but there is nothing more gorgeous than a newborn baby girl. Catherine taught us that lesson a few weeks ago during her newborn session in our studio.
We had a blast posing this sleeping beauty in our favorite props, a rustic bucket with a comfy fur, and she fell right asleep for our team. Our favorite thing about Catherine? Those cheeks! They were so precious the entire session that her mom had a hard time not landing a few kisses on them! We also just loved playing with the different headbands we have in our studio, and we can’t wait to get some more!
We are so excited to be working with this...
Caffeine Is The Name Of The Game
As a nation that is constantly moving towards progress and goals, coffee is a strong factor in our day to day lives. Or at least it is for our team and senior model reps Taylor, Maddie, and Annie!
The lovely ladies met us for their group session in Downtown McKinney at an adorable coffee shop called fILTER(ed) to kick off their North Dallas Senior pictures. The amazing staff there granted us the ability to photograph in their little shop and with all of the neat things they have in there.
Laughing over coffee, our models posed for us and let us capture their budding friendships and jokes! One of the managers...
We Fell for the Burrell Family
With 3 girls, it’s no wonder that this family was so pumped for their family photos! All three of the awesome sisters were dressed to fit their personalities, and it definitely cemented the idea in our minds that just because you’re related that does not mean you’re exactly the same!
Even though their personalities are so different, their love for one another and their parents shown brightest during their session at a cute park across the street from the studio. We met the Burrell family when Lauren, the middle sister, contacted us about her senior portraits back in October...
Our First Love: Mom
After carrying us around for 9 months and enduring all of the ups and downs of pregnancy, it’s no wonder that our first love is always our mothers. They nurture us, hug us, and give us kisses when we need them most. Moms are there to keep us smiling and to teach us how to love the way they...
Ms Hannah Begins Our Journey
Everyone has a starting point and ours was with Ms. Hannah. Born to a dear friend of Tyler and Stacia’s you could argue that Hannah was part of the reason we started to photograph little bundles of joy. Not wanting to take the traditional route of photographing newborns in their birthday suit, Hannah’s mom brought adorable pink knit diaper cover and a matching headband. While her brother and sister played with a few of the toys we keep at the studio, we photographed Hannah all snuggled up in her grandmother’s blanket. Although Hannah was not interested in falling asleep for...
Join Us For A New Adventure
Welcome to our very first blog post as newborn photographers!
As most people in Frisco know, we are one of the prominent senior photographers in the area. So, we’re sure everyone is wondering: why babies? Well, it all started with a pregnancy test. My wife, Stacia, brought the fateful stick to me with a smile on her face. “Surprise!” she had said, and I nearly fainted.
Knowing that a baby would change the..
Beautiful Senior Portraits Made at Stunning Aubrey Horse Ranch
Talk about breathtaking. Our team stared in awe as Georgia Scalfano, a senior this year at Trinity Christian Academy, jumped out of the car and gave her friend a big hug. We were totally unprepared for the sight before us, and we’re sure our faces were a sight to behold.
Little did we know that the week before her Model for a Day session that Georgia would come down with appendicitis! Determined to have her senior portraits done, Georgia and her mother came to the studio in November and declared with a flourish that she was going to “have this senior portrait session if it was the last thing I do!” We laughed and assured her that we would take...
How To Get A Newborn To Fall Asleep
Most people know how little sleep most people get when they have a new baby, and now we know why! Getting a newborn to fall asleep can be very difficult, and this was something we discovered when we had sweet L.J. in our studio for his newborn portraits.
L.J.’s mom was another friend of the team, so when we learned that she only had hospital photos of little L.J. there was no hesitation to have them into the studio for a short session. However...
McKeen Sisters' Hair Catches Fire During Session
The McKeen sisters, Lauren and Savannah, truly live up to their Scottish heritage. With freckles for days, and hair like a stunning red blaze, these lovely ladies can attract a crowd wherever they go! Along with their mom and dad, this family is just gorgeous!
We met them at their neighborhood’s clubhouse...
Dallas Girl Witnesses Horrible Incident
Our team stood ridged. It never had a chance of surviving, and there was nothing we could do to save it. In one fail swoop, it was taken alive, wrapped up, and eaten by a giant banana spider. Our team was frozen in space, riveted and slightly bugged out by the speed at which the grasshopper met its...
Senior Torn Between Canada and the US
Ok, we’re exaggerating. Heritage High School Senior Markee Williamson has lived in the US for over seven years, so she’s obviously happy living here. Although, she did tell us while we explored Downtown Prosper that she missed poutine, a Canadian delicacy that includes french fries and a large amount of gravy. Our team thinks that we would miss that too.
Markee first reached out to us over the summer, and told us how excited she was to be a senior and how pumped she was to have her senior photos with us! So it was no surprise that we were equally as excited when we were able to have her session soon after school started. With the year slowly moving toward the holidays, and the days begin to shorten, our team was a little nervous we would run out of light before heading out to Downtown Prosper. Luckily for us, we were right on schedule and Markee got some amazing photos of the sunset with her cute red Mini Cooper.
After waving the Canadian flag...
Senior or Mermaid? You Decide
For someone who spends close to 50% of her time in the pool, Heritage High School Senior, Maddie Snowden, was more than willing to jump in the water for our team. We were not at all surprised that Maddie was friends with alumni senior model rep, Hannah Mabile, who had a swim session with us back in 2014. These two girls...
Senior Stops Rain for Senior Shoot
With a last name like Rachel Brown’s, how could she not have her DFW senior portraits with our studio! It had been a rainy week, and the day of Rachel’s shoot wasn’t going to be any different. Already having to reschedule once due to tornados, our team was determined to get this Brown into our studio rain or shine! Lady luck seemed to be on our side as we headed out
Senior Fights Texans for a Spot in Blue Bonnet Patch
Bluebonnets are a Texas staple, and they can be quite fickle at times. Fortunately for us, we found the perfect location to put our blond beauty in the middle of a field full of the gorgeous indigo flowers, although we did have a little competition from the other bluebonnet seekers!
Kelsey Auldridge, a senior at Berkner High School, and her mother Mary met our team out at Towne Lake Park to begin her seniority session with us. Towne Lake Park has a beautiful and rusty bridge that Kelsey and her mom had fallen in love with, so after taking a few stunning photographs on the bridge, Kelsey bravely...
Store Owner Tries to Kick Senior Out of Session Location
In Dallas, Texas, cold is not usually a word that is thrown around very often. Heat, wind, sweat, are usually synonymous with DFW senior portraits, but cold? Unfortunately, Zach Ferrell had to brave the coldest and windiest day of winter (so far) – but we think it was not in vain!
Melissa Ferrell, Zach’s mom, called us in a panic on that Monday morning. Zach had gone through the rigorous and painful process of having his braces removed for his senior portraits only to have their photographer cancel on them last minute and his orthodontist was calling him back in to put on a new fresh set of metal the following day. Having found our photographs on Yahoo and through the Underwoods – Melissa attended high school with Ron – who you may recognize from their senior and family portraits with us...
Are You as Nimble as This Senior? We Don’t Think So
Gorgeous, a gymnast, a reader, and a braniac; Shannon Dyer is a senior after our hearts. When we photographed her older sister, Lauren, back in 2012, we knew that she was a hoot and couldn’t expect anything less from Shannon! With a spritely attitude and an outgoing spirit, Shannon dazzled us with her smile and big blue eyes as we strolled along the paths at Arbor Hills Nature Preserve in Plano, Texas.
While walking through the denser part of the woods, we found a side of the creek that runs through Arbor Hills that we have not seen before...
How to Graduate High School Early and Keep God as a Key Player in Your Life
Soft light streamed through the stained glass windows as our footsteps echoed through the high ceilings of the sanctuary. Madison DeVor smiled at our team as we gaped at the gorgeous patterns and textured walls of the Old Church Restored, a church in Whitesboro, Texas.
Madison and her mother are good friends with the family who bought and restored the old church, so they very graciously allowed us to photograph Madison there for her DFW senior portraits! This senior is not only beautiful, but she is extremely smart! She is the only senior in our Senior Model Rep Program to be graduating early, and she told us that her plan is to begin a community college to gain more credits as soon as she graduates in the spring...
How To Rock a Leather Skirt This Winter Season
Our team stood in a shocked silence. It was happening again, and there was nothing they could do about it. Macy was on the verge of tears while Tyler let out a nervous chuckle. All they could think about was the catastrophe that happened during Makenna Kinnamon’s first DFW senior shoot when they headed to Denton, Texas only to find a rock festival taking place, and it seemed that it was happening all over again to another senior model rep, Taylor Hernandez...
When Geese Attack – A Seriously Fowl Situation
A gallant yell emerged from our studio as Liberty High School senior, Ethan Luman, roared into the camera followed by laughter as our team roared along with him. We had Ethan’s session at White Rock Lake, where we met Ethan and his mother Cara for his Dallas senior portrait session. Ethan is the eldest of four with a younger sister and twin younger brothers who he says always put smiles on his face.
It was an unseasonably warm day, and we were taking full advantage of it along with other Dallas natives who were jogging along the gorgeous paths lined with fall colored trees. One gentleman was sporting some bright orange running shorts, and Ethan, being outgoing, waved him down to let him know “how awesome” he thought the man’s shorts were...
Three Things You Need to Look Like A Cross Country Star
The three things you need to look like a cross country star!
#1: Have a lot of patience!
Angry screams pierced the cool autumn air. Cheyenne tried her best to keep a smile on her face, but the wailing screams only kept getting louder. Right as the noise reached its peak, Tyler shouted ‘got it!’ and Cheyenne burst into a fit of giggles.
Our team was photographing Heritage High School senior, Cheyenne Allison for her DFW senior portraits at the beautiful Arbor Hills Nature Preserve...
Family Outshines Texas Countryside During Portrait Session
Easy-going, happy, and fun-loving are just a few of the words that we would use to describe the Underwood family. We met Kayla Underwood when she had her DFW senior portrait session with us back in October, and when Kacie, Kayla’s mother, saw how fantastic Kayla’s portraits were she decided to have their family’s portrait done with us as well!
A busy family, we met up with the Underwoods on a Friday evening at Luscombe Farms in Anna, Texas for some traditional and non-traditional family portraits. While Kayla is a senior this year at Heritage High School, Kyler, her brother attends Independence High School and is on their baseball team...
Colorado Native Crashes Denton Square Rock Festival
When you first roll into the Denton Square, you expect to see a beautifully quaint, small town feel, courthouse – possibly with a few college students scattered around on blankets having picnics or studying. You expect to see the soft lights of Christmas strung up in and around the trees, framed by the infamous Opera house (now a recycled book store), and the atmospheric sounds of maybe a jazz or bluegrass band playing on the corner.
What you do not expect, is a booming, devilish, and wild heavy metal concert – which is unfortunately what Makenna Kinnamon got during the first round of her DFW senior portraits...
How to Keep Ghouls From Getting Into Your House This Halloween
We decided to visit the Big Orange Pumpkin Farm in Celina, Texas for our first annual pumpkin patch themed session. This farm had everything you could want from a traditional visit: farm animals, hay rides, a maze, and of course an assortment of pumpkins!
Haley Rodriguez and Brooke Sauls are two of our models from our Model Rep Program this year! Haley, a senior at Heritage High School, was featured in our very first Senior Model Rep Session this year with model and friend, Shannon Dyer. We admire Haley’s softball skills, so we made sure to stop by a softball field on our way out to the pumpkin patch...
Swing Off Into The Sunset With The Miletellos
You would think having two kids would put a damper on the spark in a marriage, but you could never say that about Joey and Beth Miletello.
This gorgeous couple has two amazingly beautiful kids, and that flame is brighter than ever. Our team even noted during their session how we could almost see the love between them as if it was a tangible object. Of course, with every smooch...
You Definitely Don't Want To Miss This - 2015 Model Rep, Brooke, Takes On Luscombe Farms!
We would like to re-introduce our beautiful, and talented, ballerina, Brooke Sauls! You might recognize her from our model rep session blog post with Brooke, Kristin, and Lexi at Luscombe Farms in Anna, Texas.
Brooke is a senior this year at McKinney North High School. She and her friend, Nikki, met us at the studio to escape the summer heat for to begin her session..
Basketball Player and Violinist, Brianna Griffin's, Seniority Session!
On this fine Monday, we would like to introduce you all to McKinney Boyd High School senior, Brianna Griffin! Brianna is not only a basketball player, but a violinist as well, and we were so excited when she showed up to her session with her violin and basketball.
We started off Brianna’s seniority session at our Frisco studio with some cool shots of this talented senior. Not only did we get the privilege of hearing her play a little tune, we also got to play around in the dark (check out the image of Brianna signing her name)...
McKenzi's Seniority Session with Boyfriend, Tyler!
Say hello to our 2014 senior, McKenzi Morris, and her boyfriend, Tyler Arnold! McKenzi and Tyler are both students at Allen High School. McKenzi wanted to do some pictures with her boyfriend during her senior portraits session so we did 2-in-1 session! McKenzi, Tyler, McKenzi’s mom, and Tyler’s mom all met us at the studio to start off their session. We took pictures of each senior individually and then did some group shots as well...
Isabella's Seniority Session in McKinney
We would love to introduce you to one of our gorgeous 2014 seniors, Isabella Bassan! Thanks to our 2014 Model Rep, Marissa Robinson, Isabella heard about us and decided to schedule our Seniority session.
We met Isabella and her mother in Downtown McKinney where we started the session off with Isabella in her Texas Tech shirt. After our usual pass through the uniquely textured streets and alleys of Downtown McKinney, we drove over to Towne Lake Park. We love the combinations of these two locations due to their complete differences...
2014 Cap & Gown/College Shirt Shoot - Part Two
They are finally here… The photos from our second cap & gown session with our fabulous 2014 seniors! We are so lucky to have had the privilege of working with each and every one of these young adults throughout the past school year. If you read about our first cap and gown session, you know that we scheduled 15 minute time slots for any 2014 seniors who were interested in getting some shots in their cap and gown and college t-shirts...
Kyra's Exciting Urban and Country Model for a Day Session
Today we’re introducing Princeton High School senior, Kyra Skinner! Kyra is a cheerleader with Cheer Athletics and the FFA President at her school. She also shows Heifers and Steer (cattle), traveling to places like Houston, Dallas, Fort Worth, and San Antonio. Kyra moved to Texas from Kansas her freshman year of high school and we are so glad she did...
Call Back Session with 2014 Model Rep, Brad Over
Our Lone Star High School football player, Brad, came back for the second half of his senior portraits session and we couldn’t wait to photograph him again! If you don’t remember, we photographed Brad at our studio and captured some really awesome tough guy shots. Although we were very happy with his studio portraits, we were excited to get some cool shots of this senior on location...
2014 Valentine Shoot with Some Awesome Seniors!
We invited some of our models to bring their significant other or a friend to our Valentine Shoot this past weekend and we had such a great time! We decorated the studio with a table full of candy, cupcakes, cake balls, and Kool Aid, hung red and pink paper lanterns, and even had a huge teddy bear. Once Brad, Chabeli, Marissa and their friends arrived, we turned up the music and starting taking pictures right away. One thing we love about our 2014 senior model reps is the fact that they all have a great time in front of the camera and they aren’t afraid to act a little goofy...
Aubrey High School 2014 Senior, Bailey Slaughenhaupt's, Model Rep Session
Everyone meet Bailey, our 2014 Senior Model Rep from Aubrey High School! Bailey was our last model rep to be photographed this year but we are so glad we got the chance to photograph her. Bailey is also the student council class president at her high school in Aubrey.
As with all of our spectacular model reps we started off Bailey’s session with hair and makeup by the fabulous Whitney Stiles at our Frisco studio. We shot some fun portraits of Bailey in the studio wearing a lovely dress and a more casual outfit before hitting the road for our on-location shots...
Our Deep Ellum Portrait Session With James Rhodes
In 2011 we photographed a beautiful young lady from Centennial High School, Emily Rhodes. We had an awesome time photographing her so you can imagine how excited we were when she called us about pictures for her younger brother, James! Having worked with us before, Emily knew what to expect, and it was a delight getting to see her again.
We met James and Emily in Deep Ellum and walked the streets capturing some cool portraits of James with a multitude of textured and grunge, backgrounds. James even had his friend bring his motorcycle to us so he could take some cool pictures with his bike as well...
Heritage High School Cheerleader, Maddie Whitten's, Senior Session in Downtown McKinney
We first met Maddie while photographing the Heritage Coyotes football team during one of their games. Maddie is a cheerleader for Heritage and a good friend of our 2013 senior model rep, Skyler Rountree! We were excited to photograph this gorgeous senior and we had so much fun during her session...
Lone Star High School Football Player Brad's Studio Model Rep Session
This post is all about our 2014 senior model rep, Brad! Brad is a football player, power lifter, and runner from Lone Star High School and he has the muscles to show it! Along with his athleticism, he is smart and has a plan for his future. He intends on studying engineering at UT or Texas State next Fall. We don’t know how these seniors juggle so much responsibility their senior year but we love watching them succeed...

Lone Star High School Swimmer Hannah's Model Rep Session
We were so excited when Hannah became one of our 2014 Senior Model Reps! We love working with seniors who are involved in different sports and activities so we can really focus on creating senior portraits that are unique to that specific senior. With Hannah being our first swimmer, we had tons of ideas. So many ideas, in fact, that we were only able to do half of Hannah's session!
For this half of her session we decided to start in our studio with white and pink backdrops, then headed over to Frisco Square for some great backgrounds, before finishing up in the studio pool...
McKinney North High School Senior Hadlie's Model Rep Session
This gorgeous blonde hair blue eyed 2014 Model Rep from McKinney North High School is Hadlie. Hadlie is not only on her high school soccer team, but she also plays for FC Dallas in Frisco! As usual, her session started off in the studio and we had a great time photographing this fun soccer player and her large collection of cowboy boots. We photographed Hadlie in various outfits including her soccer jerseys, dresses and her patriotic outfit while surrounding her with props from soccer balls to balloons and her boot collection...
Lone Star High School Drill Team Officer Shelby's Model Rep Session
We first met Shelby when we were asked by another Lone Star senior named Shelby to photograph their Cheer/Dance Banquet. Shelby was sporting a knee brace at the banquet, but she was all healed up when she came to the studio for her Senior Model Rep Session. After her hair and makeup was artfully applied by the amazing Whitney Stiles...
Centennial High School Senior Kaylee's Model Rep Session
Kaylee is our 2014 Model Rep from Centennial High School in Frisco. Kaylee came into the studio for her session excited and ready to be photographed but boy did we wear her out by the end of the day! She started the session off in front of the mirror while our hair/makeup artist, Whitney Stiles, worked her magic. Once she was all dolled up we went straight to work in the studio with some portraits on our various backgrounds...
Richardson Competitive Cheerleader Brianna's Senior Model Rep Session
Brianna, a Richardson High School senior, is the first of many seniors taking part in our 2014 Senior Model Rep Program. We kicked off Brianna’s session at our studio in Frisco, and in true “model” style, she went straight to hair and makeup with our artist/stylist, Whitney Stiles. After all of the primping we began with some carefree and fun studio shots. Brianna is on the cheer squad at her school, as well as a competitive cheerleader with Cheer Athletics. We were able to capture some of her stunning...
World Olympic Gymnastics Academy Elite Gymnast Sophia's Senior Portrait Session
Sophia Lee is an international elite gymnast from the world renowned World Olympic Gymnastics Academy (WOGA) in Plano, TX. If you were to do an Internet search on her name, you would find her on websites like this one alongside quite a few household names in gymnastics...
Southlake Senior Portraits at the Dallas Arboretum with Molly
Southlake High School senior, Molly, met up with us at The Dallas Arboretum for her senior portrait session. Molly and her mom opted for our Seniority Session, which we knew was going to be about 3 hours. We wanted some studio shots too, so after we finished up at the Arboretum (read that as they closed the place up and kicked us out) we hit the road and headed back up to Frisco to our studio...
A Quick Senior Portrait Studio Session with Sam
Sam and his mother dropped by for a quick basic session. To say Sam was reluctant to have his senior portraits made would be an understatement but mom was determined and so were we. We ended up having a good time and we were able to get Sam to loosen up and enjoy the process. His portraits turned out great and you can really see his personality in a few of them...
Heritage High School Senior, Natori's, Studio Session
When Bryn and her mom told us about the very sad circumstances that lead to Natori possibly having to skip having her senior portraits made, we knew we had to do something. We were so happy to help her family out after everything they’ve been through. So much tragedy for these young ladies, makes our hearts just hurt...
A Spring Break Session with Alex Schenck!
Alex was home from school in Minnesota over spring break and her mom thought it would be a good time to have her senior portraits taken. I must say, Alex was one of the easiest seniors we have ever had the pleasure of photographing. She would literally giggle on command. It was almost as if her natural state of being was giggling and she had to try to stop for the rest of the pictures...
Jonathan’s GQ Senior Portrait Session in Downtown McKinney
Jonathan is graduating from Wylie High School, Class of 2013. We started his session in our studio with just him and his guitar. Jonathan is a musician at Fellowship Church Plano, and happens to be good friends with one of our previous clients, drummer Josh Rainey. One has to wonder if these two cats have ever sat down together and jammed?
Heritage High School Senior Pictures with Cheerleader Bryn
Bryn is quite the character and a lot of fun to photograph. Both her studio session and her outdoor session at Adriatica Village turned out great, but I think we had the most fun out by the pool. Bryn really wanted a few photographs in the water, so we gave it a go. It was a lot of fun trying to keep her from floating up, thankfully I have some SCUBA gear...
Awesome Lewisville Senior Portrait Session with Hannah
Hannah will be graduating from Temple Christian Academy in may 2010, and is about to leave on her mission trip to Africa. She had just received all of the shots necessary to prepare her for the trip when we met up with her, but you can’t tell that from her perfect smile! We took half of the shots in the park near The Shops at Legacy in Plano, TX and the other half in old downtown Lewisville, Texas. My favorite spot that day was a little garage parking lot with a bunch of tires, rusty wheels and car parts laying around. We had a great time, and except for the wind, it was a perfect day for shooting!
Thanks Hannah for being one of the best seniors we have ever photographed, you were a ton of fun to hang out with! Good luck on your mission trip, be sure to take...
