The bells are jingling, kids are caroling, trees are sparkling, and couples are attempting to ice skate without breaking an ankle. That’s right: it’s Christmas time in Texas.
When Rachel and Maddie met our team at Frisco Square it was mildly cold at 60 degrees. As most Dallas Texans are aware, the weather has its own mind and will and the weather men can only guess at what the temperature will be on a day to day basis. We chatted with the lovely two Senior Model Reps, Maddie Snowden, a senior at Heritage High School, and Liberty High School Senior, Rachel Rhoades, about their Christmas plans. Maddie as a swimmer (and her team’s captain), is in the middle of their season and Maddie told us that they have two-a-days during the Christmas break. She was excited to be spending some of the time with her team, though, and even told us that she actually had just come from a white elephant exchange with her team before the session! And Rachel excitedly told us that she was heading out to Deerfield to see the lights with her friends from school and that she had plans with a special someone for Christmas.
We walked through the semi-sparse Christmas tree farm at Frisco Square, stopping to pose with a few tree’s that Charlie Brown would have been proud of, and laughed at a cute teacup pig that was running around in the petting zoo.
Once we reached the large Christmas tree that is the pinnacle of Frisco Square’s holiday decorations, the girls contemplated hopping the fence to pose with the “gifts” under the tree. Not wanting to disturb the decorations – or attract the attention of the good officers who keep us safe – we settled for posing the lovely Top Models around the fence. As the temperature began to drop the lights that run along Main Street popped on, and we took the opportunity of an empty street to snap a few photos.
The sun bid us farewell and we said goodbye to our gorgeous models feeling full of Christmas Cheer. Our team would like to take a moment and wish EVERYONE a Merry Christmas, and a very Happy New Year! We hope you enjoy the company of your families as much as we will enjoy ours.
